Worries about the phone interview

Hey guys, I am new here and nice to meet you all

I just had my phone interview tow days ago, and playing the "waiting game" now, feeling so nervous and excited

But I am sort of worrying about the phone interview I had, during the interview, I told my nice interviewer my preference of roles, and then she told me about the main entrance operation role and ask me if I am willing to do it. My respond was "Sure, I am okay with it, but I just prefer the roles I am most interesting in....."

After the interview, I chatted with my friend who is currently working in Disney World as a CP, he told me one of the reasons if I am being rejected for the program is saying no when the interviewer asks if I can do other roles.......

Now, I feel that I messed up the interview by saying "prefer the roles I am most interesting in....." Even my friend told me it would be fine as long as I said OK......

BTW, all other questions she asked me about the low paid, long hours, and Disney look I answered OK and accept to all....

So anyone has this kind of experience? Does anyone know my possibility of being accepted is still high or low?

Also, I receive an email saying that I will have the update of my status within two weeks, is the update means the result of my application or just gonna tell me my application is still in process? Because I thought the result will come within 4 weeks not 2....

I think you handled that well. You were agreeable to Main Entrance yet represented yourself well by saying the other roles were genuinely your preference. Very diplomatic. I remember my son saying they asked him about other roles. They threw a few at him and he did say he was not interested in food services and that was not a good match to his major in college. They took him and he actually got the role he wanted the most.

Try not to drive yourself batty by parsing apart your interview. Just bite your nails away while waiting for word. Good luck.
