Purple Folder

Hey guys, I was accepted by email on 10/28 for the spring 2012 program, I paid the housing fees as well as picked my arrival date, but I am still not receving the "Purple Folder". It has almost been six weeks, I am kind of worring about it. Is this normal? Should I call them? or there is no such purple folder if I am accepted by email? Thanks guys!

Hi! What role did you get? When is your start date?

I remember my son looking at a folder of stuff before he left and watching something online in paper 3D glasses.

I'll ask him tomorrow, if someone else doesn't answer you before. I vaguely remember something about the purple folder going away, but I could just be imagining that.

Hi HauntedGabe, I get Main Entrance Operations and I will start on the 23rd of January. That is folding I am expecting, I guess they send out the folders once over a period a time, I don't know. Anyways, thanks for your help.

By the way, which role did your son get?

I haven't received a Purple Folder yet either. I have two other friends that are doing the Spring Program as well and have already left for Disney. My friend, Aimee, is doing the for her second time around and she said that everything is super different this year and she didn't receive a Purple Folder either. So I think Disney is trying to conserve paper and is doing everything online now. I think you just have to print off some papers from online and fill it out and bring it with you.

How exciting for you! My son has done the CP. I kept the Purple Folder for future memories. I remember he had to fill out paperwork in advance, bring things like his birth certificate and social security card.

When do you arrive and what role did you receive? Excited?

Actually I just arrived Orlando yesterday. Now I am spending few days this week for other places before I check in on Monday morning, and Yes, I am super excited. I drove to Vista Way, Chatham Square and Patterson Court to see the places today and I can't wait to move in haha.

Few weeks ago, I sent them an email asking about the purple folder, and they replied that they are doing everything online now. So I just print out everything I need and bring them with me. :D
