Fall 2012 anyone?!?

I GOT ACCEPTED TOO!!! Apparantly, i was accepted 5 days ago, but i never got an email and my dashboard said nothing about it. Then i got an email this morning reminding me to accept my offer....i was confused, needless to say. So i emailed Disney and they said i should get my letter in the next 24 hours. I have no idea what role I was offered, but Im SOOOOO HAPPY to just be accepted. I'm going regardless of what the role is, theres no way im missing this opportunity! Im soo happy....literally 10 years of waiting for this moment, i cant believe its really here!

Ahhhhh....torture. I've seen through the years that many times they are waiting out where they need you. Hopefully it will be before April 25th.

Congratulations to you both. I remember that moment I heard from my DS when he was accepted. I can't think of too many other moments in his life that were that exciting for him.

This new system Disney has launched to handle applicants obviously still has many bugs to work out.

I'm really interested in doing the CP in the sumer of 2013 and I was wondering how many people are accepted to the program? Like is it hard to get into?

Aprox 6,000 are accepted for WDW, and aprox 2,000 for DL (and that's per season).

Do you mean just for the summer? Because if so, unfortunately there isn't just a summer program for first-time participants. The only summer program is for CP alumni (and they don't have it every year- there isn't a 2012 summer program).

I just now found this forum on here--I applied and was accepted in February to merchandise at WDW. I cannot wait! Also applied for a management internship--made second interview stage, but I was told the only thing I lacked was the college program (so let down!). So, I will be down there starting August 20th--hoping to get either a shop in the AK or MK or the Port Orleans Riverside Resort!

Congrats! Merchandise is a fun role (I did that on my first CP).

Thanks! Im very excited--hopefully going to be able to get an internship afterwards and turn it into a career!
