Hey guys, I would LOVE to enroll in the WDWCP, but I have to wait a couple of years, but I was wondering, when is the right time to enroll? A few months before? Also, I would love to work in Hospitality or TV/Film Production or I would love to be a character... the only BAD thing is, I am super tall 5"9 or 5"10(it's been so long since I've been mesaured). Are there characters that I can be? I know being a princess is ruled out.

hmmm... well Minnie... You have to successfully complete 1 semester of college before enrolling... You also must have a GPA higher the 2.0 (which isnt to hard) Im sure there is a character that needs to be taller... Goofy needs to be tall... Girls can always play boy characters and Goofy would be a fun one to play... but characters require an audition.

When I'm in college I really want to be part of the CP. Ever since I can remember I have wanted to work there. I only have about 5 more years till I can work there now. How tall do you have to be to be a princess'?

You can view the requirment on the webpage... But no there is no age requirement all you need to do is complete a full semester of college before you sign up.

Actually, it says now that you have to be 18 to sign up, probably due to labor laws.

Not many people worry about this probably, since most college students are adults

Now, to my question, for those who have done Operations on the CP, can you request a certain attraction? I would LOVE to do The Great Movie Ride.

Also, what exactly does the Vacation Planners do? They say there is a lot o standing, how is that?

You can request a certain attraction for operations, but there is no guarantee. In fact, there is no guarantee that you will even get an attraction. Turnstiles, ect also go along with operations.

To go along with that last question, I would assume you would be able to request being a face character oppossed to being in a full costume. Would that be right? I'm trying to decide whether i would want to try to be a character(but i dont want the full costume because i've been a clown for too long which is like a full costume due to the makeup) and being operations. I want to be able to interact with guests.

Thanks for answering these questions and the ones above by others. Oh and to repeat one, what is the height requirement for princesses??

Nope. You have to do both. In fact, you have to do fur before you can even be considered for face. And the princesses usually start at around 5'4 (although Wendy and Alice start at about 5'1).

I'm also really interested in the WDWCP. In fact, I'm applying in a few days once I get some last minute details and I'll attend a presentation and interview in early March. So first off, does anyone have any tips for the interview? Also, I'm right at 5'4", and I know a few of you have said that the princesses start around that height...but do you know which ones exactly are considered at the height, face or fur characters that is?

Be friendly and outgoing for the interview. My mom and I have a running joke about being "bubbly and enthusiastic" but hey, it worked for me. Make sure you have the right "Disney Look" When I interviewed it was; only one set of small earrings, not streaks or unnatural colours in your hair, natural looking makeup, one small ring per hand, no visable tattoos, no noticable piercings other than your ears.
Seem interested in everything, even if you know the answer already find a question to ask in the interview.
Don't make it sound that you only want to be a princess, I don't think many CP castmembers become face characters or one Mickey and Minnie. I did know a couple of CP CM's that were Chip and Dale. that were Be happy with food and beverage, attraction or merchandise.
    Good Luck!!
