I haven't but i'm also interested.
First of all I just want to say that I just found this website a short time ago and I am so glad I did. Everyone here is so nice and welcoming and you all give really great advice. With that said I have a few questions about the Disney College Program. I have been thinking about trying to get in and I have been to the main website to check out all the info. But I was wondering if anyone here has been involved with the program and could help me with a few questions. First of all, How hard is it to get into the program? What position did you end up working and did you enjoy it? What were some of your most memorable moments working at WDW? These are just a few of my many questions, but Its a start. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!![]()
I did the CP back in Spring 2005 (and I have applied for Fall 2006). Let me just say that it was one of the best times of my life!! I had an absolute blast doing the CP. I worked in merchandise in Fantasyland at MK, but I also was deployed to do merchandise in Liberty Square, Adventureland, and Main Street (not Emporium). I also picked up a LOT of hours doing parade control (the best shifts ever!!) at Main Street, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, MGM parade, and Fantasmic! I liked my job. I almost always closed, which meant I usually came in around 4-6 pm, then left around 12-1 am (depending on the time period and whatnot). For the upcoming CP, I am hoping for character attendant or operations. As for memerable moments, I have a TON of those. I met so many nice people (especially in the entertainment department). If you have anymore questions, feel free to IM me. My AIM is joanna71985. Good luck!Originally Posted by Iheartwdw

I am an International Program alumni (1991), it is basically the same thing as the CP except it's for non-americans working at Epcot. It wasn't hard to get in. Just make sure you have the 'Disney Look' and friendly attitude at your interview.
I will say it was the best thing I ever did and I also have way too memories to convey in this thread. I worked in the Canadian pavillion in food and beverage (Le Cellier)
I say go for it.
It's not hard at all to get accepted into the program, first off
I'm Jim, and I was in the CP for Magic Kingdom Outdoor Foods in Spring of 05, and I'll be applying for the Spring of 08 (Character, here I come baby!)
All the people will look up and shout: "Save us!" and I'll whisper...'no'.
Who watches the watchmen?
Which classes did you guys take?
ps. thanks for replying so quick to the other questions!![]()
I didn't take any....I decided that since my college wouldn't allow me to transfer any, I wasn't going to overburden myself![]()

Thanks Esigsby for all the info. I never thought about taking online classes from my college while in the CP, thats a good idea. It sounds like you had an awesome time, I hope I'm able to audition in the fall for the spring program.![]()
Good luck. I auditioned for the fall 2006 program, and it wasn't too bad (even though I didn't get character). How tall are you?
