The irony is that even though the sign was pointing out the location of the bookstore, it also highlighted one of Wall Street's darling CEO's. Disney stock has gone from $13 to $27 in a year or so making a lot of people rich, or richer.

P.S. The DW thought I was crazy about thinking of buying Disney stock a year or so ago at $13; so I didn't. Now she says "I" made a big mistake.

JC, I got the irony. There is an article on the "cover" of MSN today about Disney stock.

PS. I DID buy Disney stock :P

Yeah, I've got a story like that about Apple Computer at $16.

Not to detract from your point, but the last time Disney stock was at $13 was in 3rd quarter of 2002. It dipped briefly again around the start of the 2nd quarter of 2003 but only to about $15.

very cool of you Pat to take time to do this ...and Lou what an awesome feeling that must be. congrats to both of you.

I still get nervous meeting certain celebrities and forget things too...but having done so much volunteer work in the field I sometimes am immune to the star factor and just treat them as I would anyone else I meet...which can be a good thing cause some of these guys need brought back down to earth a bit...lol

VERY AWESOME YOU GUYS...now i cant get the bathroom thing out of my head either...ugggg

You have to remember at my age a couple of years seem like yesterday. Anyway I don't own any stocks, only the DW does, and she isn't sharing!!!

Don't worry Ms.Pat--I have had the pleasure of meeting or being close to many famous people from Astronauts to the President of the United States....I have said just about the same thing...."ummmm...uhhhhhh....nice to meet you" before clamming up.

You know, on the ferry back, I started thinking I should have gotten more copies, or planned ahead more, taken orders, etc. But it was really a last-minute thing about going - wasn't sure I could get the babysitting covered until that morning.

Mr. Eisner did sign many additional copies while there was no one on his line, so if you really want one, you could call the Wall Street Borders at 212-964-1988 and probably get one sent to you.

The book, Camp, is a decent summer read so far (I'm somewhere in chap. 7). If you've ever gone to sleepaway camp or wished you had, you'll enjoy it. I'll give a better review once I finish it.

It pays to get on Borders email list if you have one near you. They send a lot of 20% or 25% off coupons plus a list of events in your area. Maybe he has more appearances lined up?

TNina - if I couldn't spell LOU's name correctly, can you just imagine how I would have gotten YOUR name signed??

Congratulations Lou, that's a HUGE thing for you. Hopefully he's read through it and already put in an order for several thousand to be in WDW.
