My book... will I ever see it again?

Well I recieved the Walt Disney World Trivia Book from a contest on magicalmountain.net. I got the book 2 days before my parents were planning on taking a summer trip to WDW when I was home in Wisconsin. I showed my mom my book (little did I know this was a big mistake) and I haven't gotten to keep my book since. My mom took it with her to Disney and I know that my Dad was thrilled to have my mom ask him trivia questions while driving around disney grounds, at dinner, and while they were at the pool tanning.

I moved back to FL for my junior year of college, and my mom decided whenever we were driving through rush hour traffic, she should ask me disney trivia questions. Needless to say, trying to answer disney trivia questions while driving through rush hour traffic was interesting. "Hey did you know?" And I am the disney expert in my family so my mom was amazed that I knew a lot of the answers, so it just kept her going for longer and longer.

Well, now I'm back in FL and my book has seemed to disappear again... back up to Wisconsin with my mom.

So Lou, my mom loves your book. I'm sure I'd love it, if I ever got to read it. lol. What I've heard/read I love! But I figured you'd be very amused to know that someone stole my book.

If I ever get my book back, I will be sure to let you all know. lol.

Here's an idea ! Buy your Mom the book for Christmas and then you can get yours back! You are missing out on a great read! Even us "Disney Experts" learned a few things reading Lou's book!

I would. lol. I'll have to see waht I come up with this year. My parents are workaholics so my brother and I always come up with 'themed gifts' (well i come up with him, he gives me half the money) to get them to take time off of work. My mom has told me she's almost done, so I can hope that I'll see it soon. She's due to visit in December so we shall see!

I was just very amused that i've never really seen it since the first day that I got to page through it. I did learn a lot then, but still more to learn.

Lou, I got my book last week with a nice note to my mom Rose. I have to tell you that it really took alot for me to wrap it up right away and not start reading it. She's going to be thrilled when she opens it, I can't wait!

Nope. My mom still has it. She keeps on coming up with new reasons that she needs it. I think she's almost through it though, so I can hope. She only uses it in the car. But even if I take it she goes "make sure you put that back on my dresser"

I can't wait to read it Lou. I'm planning that after she opens it and my kids start playing with their toys, I'll grab it and sit down to read it. She'll be busy with dinner so she hopefully won't notice till someone rats me out. Since they banned me from joining in on the Disney Scene It DVD game (they say I know all the answers) at least I can get my fix from her book.
