(still reeling from the concept of doing a signing in the buff)... Would Lou pack the house, or cause the Borders store to simply implode?

At the very least, they'd remember you. Imagine the conversations when you were recognized strolling through WDW.....

"Hey, aren't you the guy who did that book signing in CT?"
    "Why, yes, I am."
    "SECURITY!"

Sorry... no can do. I'm still stuck in Florida. But if it helps the cause at all, I do plan on bringing my book, lanyards, and pins with me to WDW this Sunday.

Still hoping to make it - big presentation at work tomorrow afternoon, but assuming all goes well, I should make it with a bit of time to spare. I hope.

Well, just spoke to Pat and she should be to Borders in about 20 minutes. I get out of work at 5:00 and will be heading that way. Hopefully Brian and Sam will be there also.......really looking forward to this. It's been a while since I've been on DWT or attended a gathering so it will be nice to see these guys again. Oh, and Lou too!

OK, made it back just about 20 minutes ago - easy drive (not something you get to say often in NY/CT!)

The day went very well! Goofygirl, Tiggerguy & I had a lovely dinner at the table next to Lou, Deanna, and his publishers. The Roundtable event started out interesting with a discussion by Sandra and Stan Phillips-Posner, authors of Drive I-95 (which is a really useful book if you do travel on that particular interstate). Then Lou had his turn, and did a great job. The crowd seemed to be very interested in his book. There were two more presenters after Lou who were a bit, um, dull for the hour. The presentation ended around 9:30 - 9:45, and then Lou signed some books, schmoozed a bit, and we closed the Borders down for the night. It was great to see everyone!

Thanks for taking the photos, Janet!!!! (I'll email them tomorrow)
    I'm ready to crash now
