I'm just wondering for those of you who think these new ones will scare the kids....

Don't the current ones do their fair share of scaring kids now?

I think that's awesome! I don't understand the people saying that these are more creepy than the old ones, I'm less scared by something that looks lifelike than something that always has eyes wide open and whose face doesn't move!

And I like Hook & Smee this way... they are people, so they should be face. !!

They look really weird..Paul and I saw them today..I was creeped out, he liked them.

Mr. Smee will take some time to get used to but Capt. Hook was neat...it wasn't like i thought it was going to be

i'd have to see hook and smee in person to make a fair judgement...but i think it makes more sense for them to be face characters...the more "realistic" heads look pretty cool to me...and i think kids are either going to be scared of them whether or not their eyes blink...it depends more on the individual child...i was never afraid of the characters(maybe more shy around them) and my brother was only scared of prince john bc he had "scary eyebrows"

Just saw the video... They look REAL. It's a big improvement for them. I guess they have heads for all the costumes(Pirate Goofy and Dream Goofy) They look amazing. I can't wait to see them live.

wow i cant believe that i think it is going to take me a while to get used to hook and smee but i like the new characters that would be awesome if they could interact with the guests!!

I highly doubt that this will scare children.

I mean, really, they're not that horrific to look at. And plus, these are characters that kids are familiar with, they're not going to see these characters and think, AH DEMON MICKEY! They're going to think, YAY MICKEY!

Hook actually looks like an actor in the pictures and video. lol interesting & scary (how good the technology has gotten, that is). I would love to see this in person Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
