    Unhappy Palm Tree Falls on man in Epcot!!

    Yesterday at Epcot suddenly just out of the blue this giant palm tree fell on this guy!! I heard it fall but i didnt see it. Some people told us that he had a baby in his hands and that he had to go in a wheelchair! it was right next to to The Land! Hope he's ok

    WOW!! What are the odds! Out of all the things to happen at WDW you get nailed by a palm tree. I hope the guys ok. I thought the Disney garden and tree workers made sure every thing was thriving and rooted in.

    AT first I misread part of the post and thought it said that you saw the tree fall but didn't hear it. As in, if a tree falls in the forest, would it make a sound. But then I read for details and realized you heard it but didn't see it.

    Anyway, I hope the guy is okay and that the tree didn't suffer emotional trauma.

    Thats just odd how a palm tree can just fall and i under stand if lightning hits it or a heavy wind stom blows by.
