Walt Disney World Resort Guests Get More Theme Park Time beginning Jan. 2, 2005

Beginning Jan. 2, 2005, Disney Resort hotel Guests* can enjoy even more time in the Walt Disney World theme parks. Extra Magic Hours is a new onsite resort benefit that offers added theme park time in the morning and/or in the evening to enjoy select attractions (see information below for Extra Magic Hours theme park schedule).

The Morning Extra Magic Hour occurs one hour prior to regularly scheduled park opening. Guests taking advantage of this benefit will need to present a valid Key to the World Card at the park's turnstiles.

Resort guests wishing to enjoy Evening Extra Magic Hours should obtain a wristband at the theme park. Wristband distribution locations will be found inside the main entrance or at other locations throughout the park. Guests can obtain a wristband by presenting their valid Key to the World Card no earlier than two hours prior to park close.

*Includes Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotel, and the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort.

I don't know it does seem like they tinker with these schedules a bit, depending on traffic flow, etc....We'll see I guess. I do like the resort perks, though!

I've been wondering about that too since I received my packet from WDW a few weeks ago for our October trip. It clearly stated that we would be enjoying the EMH during our stay. I certainly hope so. Also, what does the wrtistbands look like? Are they easily removed, or do you have to cut them off?

the wristbands are those plastic ones they use for all special events. They don't tear easy at all.
