    I think if you put him in like one scene it would be fine. I just hope they don't over do it like in POTC. I think if they put him in the place of the "grave keeper" and his dog that would be simple and enough. Although I would miss the keeper

    Maybe if they are thinking of having a second movie, but I wonder how many pople think of Eddie Murphy when they think of the Haunted Mansion?

    whenever ihear HM i dont think of eddie murphy like i think of captian jack when i hear POTC so i dont think adding him will be the best idea but im sure i will get used to it if they dont over do it.... i woukd be a lil dissapointed especially since i was not a HUGE fan of the movie

    The Mickey Monitor came out and they mentioned that the crystal ball will float and the ghost host's audio is better.

    I dont think theres anyway possible that Eddie Murphy will ever make it into the attraction. Johnny Depp would never have made it into PotC if the movie wasnt so sucessful.

    It doesnt say that Haunted Mansion is undergoing mantinence on the website any more. Please someone confirm if its open, i was there about 2 weeks ago and it was closed, so im going tomorrow. I hope its open but i doubt it is.

    It's not open. It's not even set to open for the passholder preview until mid-september. Take a look at the post I made on the 2nd with the details.

    Thumbs up Priority Access for Passholders

    According to the latest passholder eNewsletter:

    Exclusive Passholder Access
    When The Haunted Mansion reopens, you'll be given priority access, and will be among the first to experience all the eerie new enhancements to this classic Disney attraction. Including a ghoulish new scene, haunting new audio and more ghastly ghosts than ever before.
    It all happens Sept. 14, 15 & 16 from 9 am to 12 pm. Just look for the Passholder "Priority Access" entrance.
    Passholders must show valid Pass and photo ID for access.
