Horror of horrors! Tourists hoping to experience The Haunted Mansion at Disney's Magic Kingdom are being greeted by a "Closed for renovations" sign tacked to a locked gate.

i hope they dont do too much of anything. i love it the wa it is, although some updated aa's to spruce things up a bit shouldn't hurt.

if they make it like disneyland's, i'll be perfectly okay, and that's what they've said! They are going to add a lot of the same technology to Disney World's that they did to Disneylands a couple years ago.

Basically, Disneyland's kicks WDW's Haunted Mansion behind, so I'm really looking forward to these changes! Can't wait to see them when they are done!

I liked the bride in the DIsneyland version a lot better than the WDW one.

According to CMs, they ARE putting the new bride in at WDW and also they are fixing Madame Laoyta (and yes i know i just butchered that name but i'm tired and can't think!)

I can't wait to see the renovations to it. My family and I are going down there during MNSSHP. Perfect timing! I will definitely let you all know how it is when I get back. :-)

I am so upset that it is going to be closed when we go this month. I am not going to judge the renovations till I see it. My two favorite rides are going to be closed this month...HM and SSE. What bad luck.
