Sweet! My family has been trying to book a 7 day Disney cruise trip to the carribean for quite some time. When the new ships come they'll hopefully be sailing in the carribean.
According to the show I just finished watching, Disney plans on creating two new ships to be released in 2011 and 2012 alongside the Disney Magic and Wonder.
As for stats:
The new ships will be approximately 50% larger than the Magic and Wonder.
They are estimatd to be 122,000 tons when completed. (The original ships being 83,000 tons)
1,250 staterooms
Names have yet to be revealed
That's all I've gathered from the show and various sources.
However, what I noticed from the show, they hint to these new ships to most likely start making stops in Europe!
I am personally thrilled to hear about this! What about you?
