After reading this and what happened in Six Flags in Kentucky the other day, rides just scare me now. I love thrill rides but I'm definitely feeling it's a small world wayyy more now.

PARIS -- The death of a 14-year-old Spanish girl after a Disney ride is under investigation in France.
Disneyland Paris officials said the girl lost consciousness while riding a roller coaster.
The cause of the girl's death remains unclear. A preliminary inspection of the Rock'n'Roller Coaster ride found no malfunctions with the machinery.
The girl boarded the ride on Monday at the theme park east of the French capital, and when the ride stopped, her friends found her unconscious.
Medical teams at the theme park tried to revive her, but by the time the ambulance arrived, the girl had died.
Police have opened an investigation, and an autopsy is planned Tuesday.
The ride is shut down.

Unfortunately, it is so often because of some hidden medical condition. It does make me reconsider some of the rides my children want to ride. Sort of makes that little dip on PoTC seem my speed.

To be fair you never know. Did she have a pre-existing condition? Was she not feeling well? There are any great number of things that could go wrong. I hope there is not a rush to judgement to blame the ride or DL Paris.

Wow ! This is very sad news. Since the accident occured on the ride, at first, of course the ride is to blame, unfortunately. This is one of my favorite rides at WDW and I can't imagine anyone getting hurt or dying on it. Condolences to the family of the girl. Very sad, sad news.
