    Soarin Queue

The new queue for Soarin opened yesterday. I haven't gotten a chance to view it myself, but it is getting good reviews. The entire room plays the game, you can see a silouette of the group so you know where you're positioned in relation to the screen. As far as moving the line, they now wait for the game to finish before they move the standby line into the theatres. This means they move only the fastpass line during the game, and once the game is over they move only standby line until the next game.

There a few different types of interactive games set up in which the people in line have to move their bodies, clap or use their hands to move the items on a screen. My favorite game was one in which a group of 20 or so people had to lean back and forth in order to steer a bird on a screen in a race against the other screens. Other games were a little more boring, some involved trying to burst bubbles on the screen or move boulders around. In another game you had to use your hands to grow mountains and flowers to create a picture. I thought it was a great addition because it helped pass the time.

Wow! I didn't know they were going to be that interactive. Almost makes me NOT want to get a Fast Pass! Can't wait to check it out...Soarin wasn't open yet on my last trip, but I did get to preview the queue.

Rats and double rats, this stuff was not on when we went. BUT, we fast passed the first run and the second two it was like a 15 minute wait. If you get there about an hour before Illuminations (Not sure about the Epcot fireworks name, sorry), it goes really fast.
