I've talked to Dream Team members and never won anything. I've even watched people turn down lunch in the castle because they thought they'd have to pay for it. I'll be there Dec. 2008 and hopefully this time we'll ein something.

Disney announces another year of a million dreams

As Walt Disney World moved from the millennial "2000 Celebration" to Walt Disney's birthday "100 Years of Magic" celebration to Disneyland's 50th anniversary "Happiest Celebration on Earth" to this year's "Year of a Million Dreams," it seems the celebrations almost never end.
With four major celebration/promotional campaigns spanning most of the past eight years, the obvious question is: what's next?
How about another year of another million dreams.

I would have rather seen a year long celebration for Epcot's 25th. but I guess this will do. when i went last January I didnt see the Dreamteam once the week i was there. Maybe at Mousefest in Dec I will have some luck.
Ugh! Why not actively promote Epcot's 25th Anniversary instead of this?
I know I'm in the minority....but I've always thought that this promotion was lame.
And yes...we did "win" something, but it didn't make our vacation more special and the "Dream FastPasses" (which we never used) and the lanyard that I got in the mail certainly weren't "dreams come true" for me or my family.
This is the definition of the word dream -
1 : a series of thoughts, images, or emotions occurring during sleep -- compare REM SLEEP
2 : an experience of waking life having the characteristics of a dream: as a : a visionary creation of the imagination : DAYDREAM b : a state of mind marked by abstraction or release from reality : REVERIE c : an object seen in a dreamlike state : VISION
3 : something notable for its beauty, excellence, or enjoyable quality <the new car is a dream to operate>
4 a : a strongly desired goal or purpose <a dream of becoming president> b : something that fully satisfies a wish : IDEAL <a meal that was a gourmet's dream>
Someone please explain to me how what Disney is doing is "giving away dreams"?
It's a prize give away for crying out loud.
Sorry to here that TiggerRPh. We went in with no expectations and came away with what we thought was a " Dream Come True ". Give me a minute to post details, please.

Yea, I don't understand why EPCOT's 25th wasn't promoted AT ALL! Not even one little bit of promotion! That is so unlike Disney!!! Can you imagine all the fun with YOAMD & EPCOT's 25th being celebrated at the same time!!!!!!!

Or they could have put YOAMD off for a year or so for EPCOT's 25th. Go figure.
