Pop Warner Fight

I totally agree with Disney in what they did.
I was staying at that hotel during the night in question. Though I did not hear or see anything that would give more information, I feel better that they were escorted off the property. I am thinking more for the safety of my two year old and the other families that were staying there.

NOTE - I only had one problem with the football team who were playing with a football in the swimming pool while I was there with my daughter. Their coach told them to stop pretty quickly.

I don't think that they would ban toddlers from Disney, but maybe ban the team members from being able to play in the tournament in the future?

Get rid of the trouble before it brews over. Pop-Warner has a responsibility in this, too. Next year these teams should be ineligible to participate in this event. WDW is not going to stop hosting these events. There is too much money to be made. And for the most part the people involved with these events are fine. Maybe the teams that are invited should have to meet certain merits or criteria (community or charitable service, grade point averages, etc.) These are more important than any sporting event. And this is being written by a soccer coach. Disney did it right. They had to make sure all other guests were safe and make sure their trip was as magical as they planned. Good job, Disney!

I absolutely agree with everyone who thinks Disney did the right thing. No fighting-period and maybe make each player and parent read and sign a rule sheet at checkin. I worked at a large resort, in Panama City, during Spring Break and we made every person checking into each room sign a rules sheet, then if 1 fouled up and they all got evicted, they knew why and who to blame.

Maybe they should put them at seperate resorts, put each region of the country in a different property, or put known rivals on different properties, just to help keep tensions down.

Still, any fighting, boot their fannies out, before the granny with the gun wakes up. LOL,Kidding.
