    So the name change becomes official today I believe...I can't say that I will no longer call it MGM but we will see. Have we heard any announcements about any changes coming to the Studios? I know there were rumors that somethings would be announced today.

    Nothing outside of the usual rumors here and there about the hat, the GMR, etc. etc. Nothing "real" yet that I've seen.

    I'm certain I'll be one of those folks who keeps calling it MGM for quite a while. Eventually I'll catch on but not quickly I'll bet.

    i know i will never get used to calling it Disneys Hollywood studios . MGM was so easy to say DHS just doesnt have that great of a sound to it

    I think I mostly refer to it just as "the Studios", because when I talk to my non-Disney-obsessed friends, they got confused between "MGM" and "Universal". So no great change for me.

    DD referred to it as Studios over a year ago. I found it easier to call it that because it didn't confuse non-Disney geeks as to it's affiliation. I won't have a problem at all.

    it too will probably always be MGM to me to though ive already corrected my dad and my sister on the name! lol i really need a sweatshirt that has the new name and mickey coming out of the O

    My father called me today and said that the original seafoam green MGM sign was still up but the wording was changed now to Hollywood Studios...sniffle

    I too have always called it MGM, so now I am not sure what I will call it. Probably MGM for awhile.
