I will definitely be going to make some ears next weekend it seems!!! I'll have some extra cash to spend hopefully!
I got this from WDW News Today:
As part of the refurbishment of The Chapeau on Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom, they now provide you with the opportunity to create your own ear hats. The process is quite simple as guests select their cap, ears, ear emblems, and then their special embroidery. To see picture of the new system, head over to coverage at Laughingplace.com by going HERE.

Very cute and fun idea, it will be fun to see what people come up with but at the same time, the traditionalist in me misses the classic black ears, ever since they came out with all the various ears. When I heard there were Tink ears out there I wondered what those looked like. Mickey ears, Goofy ears, Tink ears? But then saw they were the Mickey ears with Tink on it. Phew.
This makes me happy and sad at the same time. I love the idea of building your own ears. But, I'll really miss my name being hand stitched on the back. Computer monogramming just isn't the same.
Very cute! Thank goodness LaughingPlace has so many detailed pictures of what is available - it's going to take me forever to decide what to put on a pair!![]()

You can still get the classic Mickey ears, right? I never got a pair and was hoping to get them on my next trip.
OMG! THIS IS AWESOME!![]()

I've just been reading that the shop was really busy yesterday so its probably a good idea to go really early in the day or be ready for a long queue. The same site also said that there were no finger print scanners on at MK yesterday (one of the members of the site is there at the moment and posting back any news) which made it quicker to get in. Hope they are not on when we go as I never, ever can do it properly and I try so hard!![]()
In a thread similar to this one it has been reported that the line for this is really long. I don't know if it's because of Spring Break or it's because it is new.
