Thumbs up 3D WDW Maps in Google Earth (NOW LIVE)

I came out of hiding to post this, because I am incredibly, nerdily excited!
Just read about this over on MM:
Disney has been working on a project to recreate the entire park in 3D for Google Earth.
It is now LIVE inside Google Earth.
Just make your way towards Central Florida and you will see Mickey Ears.
Click on the Mickey Ears to turn on the layer, and bask in the 3D World!
NOW we can all visit without leaving the house!

If you don't have Google Earth, or are unfamiliar with it, it's basically like Google Maps but a standalone program with a lot more features, and built in 3D. You can get it (it's free) at Google Earth

Now reach under your seat and pull out those 3D glasses...

    Just kidding, this isn't a 3D presentation.

Is this going to make it so via Google Earth if you chose the "3D" option and zoom in all the way that it will auto-switch to the 3D view or just via that site?

I will probably be a KMZ file, if you're familiar with those. Basically, you download the file and double-click it to install the whole thing right into Google Earth. So it will be its own layer set in Google Earth that you can check on and off like the roads, terrain, 3D buildings, etc.

ABC News: It's a Small World, Thanks to Google Earth

According to that news story it was just "sometime this month" that it'd be out there. I keep looking for something other than the above references with a date and can't find one.

"In a pioneering partnership aiming to go online Tuesday, Google Earth and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts will make it easy to take a virtual trip to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios and 22 Disney hotels and resorts."

I'm pretty sure they are referring to today, I hope so at least.
