Wow that makes me so mad. I've been waiting to get older so I can finally go to those clubs. Now I can't.
Love, Kerri
I am kind of blown away by this. I never really went to that area in all my visits but it was definitely on the to do list and now it is gone. Guess I will have to get to the comedy club and the adventures club next time I am down.

Wow, that is a shake up. Wonder what brought that on.

Disney rocks, Walt was a genius.
I just read this on another site, I'm pretty surprised that they are going for a complete tear down of the place! Like they said, it is a pretty busy and popular place from the times I have been. It will be interesting to see how quickly all this takes place and what they bring in.
According to the news I'm watching right now, they said "due to the numerous guest comments about them wanting more things for the family and not night clubs" I think WDW has enough and plenty of resteraunts and shops, and that's what's going to take PI's place. Kungaloosh![]()
I am in shock over this decision. Apparently Disney is doing what my husband and I have noticed for the past few months - moving away from the adults (singles or couples) to families. I know Disney is for families but the only family we ever take is my sister, brother-in-law, and my wonderful nieces every two to three years, not a family of our own. They forget that adults need some fun after hours and believe it or not I don't feel (as a female) that I *need* MORE shopping at Disney! I LOVE the comedy club and the adventures club!!!!!! Lately I am feeling like Disney doesn't want adults or couples, they only want to cater to families.
I am extremely disappointed in this decision!

Hate to hear that, but I bet they replace it with something just as good!!! The Disney people won't let the "magic" stop long.....
I never thought this would happen. I'm curious as to what many of the College Programmers are going to do? They've always had two nights that had huge numbers from the program. I can't figure out why they say they need more shopping, they already have massive retail going on over there. I really hope they don't close Adventurer's Club, it's not that far out of the family atmosphere.
There were rumors about a skating rink before, maybe that is what they will put there somewhere?
Eh, doesn't bother me. I've never been there, have kids. Hope something good takes it's place.
