Hall of Presidents Closing for 8 Months

According to a Disney insider, the planned rehab for the Hall of Presidents is actually much longer than the four months currently posted on their website, starting November 1st. The total rehab time given to the park from Imagineering to create and install the newest President figure and update the show will take the attraction down for up to 8 months, putting the new opening date at the end of June 2009, just in time for the busy July 4th holiday.

I know they have to redo with each new president but maybe they will update the audio. I think it sounded fine but technology always changes. Maybe they can get some of those more lumpy seats out of there (or maybe I am thinking of American Adventure). Anyway, I am sorry it will be closed during my trip but all the more reason to go back.

I totally agree with you though... I've never really found this attraction interesting, although I might give it another chance when they add the new president, if it's the one I want.

Best time I ever had in Hall of the Presidents was with a friend who cheered or booed the presidents she liked. It was hilarious, even though I spent half the time shushing her!

I figured it'd be going down, and if you close something, you might as well fix everything you can in it, so I'm sure I'll go see it again once it opens!

i bet they'll make an animatronic figure of both candidates so they'll have on eready to go as soon as the winner is declared. Wonder what might happen to the "loser" if they do make both?
