Michael Phelps at WDW!

Sorry for the delay in posting this. But Michael Phelps arrived at WDW today. He is currently staying at the Boardwalk.

He is scheduled to be in a special 'parade' of sorts tomorrow at the MK just after 10am.

Picture as requested. We had a great view. The parade was short - a local high school band, highway patrol on motorcycles and Michael in a convertible. Sorry I made this a bit on the big side, but I wanted to give Lori a good view.

I do what I can. We got to the park around 9:15 and found a great spot on Main Street. There were a good number of people already waiting along the street, but many guests coming in were unaware of Phelp's upcoming appearance. A public announcement was made as people arrived so guests were told about the parade IF they arrived before 10:15. A good suggestion for anyone coming to the area is to check the local paper on-line for media announcements like this since WDW doesn't release the information early should the celebrity have to change plans. Also, listen to local radio stations while vacationing in Orlando for media events.
