Let's hope that all this results in a better operation and the experience and magic isn't diminished as a result.
Then again, I'm an optomist.

i didn't read all the two pages on here but i spoke to a former manager of mine back when i was on the CRP program at epcot...they all are in great fear about their jobs, really sad...![]()
The thing is several hundred managers were offered buyouts and I guess this is stemming from it because they that was dating back to the beginning of last month. Do I feel guilty about taking my college program during this time, kinda but this puts me on the radar when the economy finally rebounds. Also from what I understand, it is alot of management roles and not say the "doorman" at the tower or "butler" at the Haunted Mansion.

I'm gonna be working at Disney this summer on the International College program. I got news that I was accepted in December, but Disney finally mailed the oficial job offers a week ago.
I was so nervous with all the firing news that Disney was going to withdraw its job offer. of course, I'm happy that they didn't.
The thing is, Disney needs people to run the parks. You can cut jobs up to a certain point, but especially in peak season this summer, they need more people.
