They really need to start selling attraction stuff. ( shirts, hats, posters, cds, etc.)
This morning, Disney launched a new section of Disneystore.com (formerly called disneyshopping.com) in which park merchandise is now available!
More info here: DisneyDaddy: Parks merchandise finally comes to DisneyStore.com

When hinges creak, in doorless chambers. And strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls. Whenever candlelights flicker, where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present. Practicing their terror, with ghoulish delight!

It's about time! By the way I was at my local Disney Store, and I'm glad mine has not closed, but there is virtually nothing for adults anymore. 99% of the items were geared towards little kids.

I'm sooooo glad they excited to do this. It will save me some $$$ instead of buying it from the online shopping services.

I saw this at like 2am last night, they must have just put it up. It's about time!
Kind of bad news for Laughing Place even though there's not as much stuff yet.
I love that they finally sell the monorail with the Contemporary though. Definitely on my birthday list.![]()

Not having been to WDW since 1996, are the prices for what's on DisneyStore.com comparable to what are in the parks? I want to know so we can budget for souvenirs when we go this July...
Hi Tiggerdaddy, having been in the parks last year the prices on the web seem pretty comparable to the parks to me.
I bought (yet another) personalised ear hat that i think was around $28. Most T-shirts were around $30...didnt look at much kids stuff as we were all big kids but i seem to recall around the $15-18 dollar mark. I'm sure other posters here will be much more up to date!
Woo hoo!!!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to do some shopping.
I have such mixed feelings about this . . . mainly I am glad to be able to get park items so easily, but it makes some of the things a little less special.
Following up on what DisneyFan80 posted, I would very much welcome more attraction-specific items and have WDW be more exclusive for general "World" Merchandise.
Have you seen my dad? Would you page him for me?
