The news reached Australia this afternoon. Even on this side of the planet, he will be missed. Our thoughts and love go out to Russi and family.

I know we all have tried to do Mickey's voice at one time or another,but Mr.Allwine had it down pat,just as Walt did,being the original voice of Mickey.Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

In one article I read somewhere, Allwine was in the process of auditioning new voice performers to play Mickey.

If I could be granted the wish of having a fantastic singing voice or be able to voice Mickey or Minnie Mouse, I'd go for the latter. Mr. Allwine might have felt the same since he enjoyed his job for so many years. R.I.P.
