Monorail Crash Report

Hi Everyone,
I don't post often, but I just saw this article about the monorail crash report from the NTSB. Very sad what happened... I don't know how to link this address so maybe someone could help me out if it doesn't work. Thanks www .clickorlando.com/news/19995851/detail.html

Re: Monorail Crash Report

A terrible series of events. Due to this incident Disney will no longer allow guest to sit with the capitain. At least some people got to do it and I'm glad I did.

Re: Monorail Crash Report

I missed a couple opportunities to ride up front on our last two trips in 2007, it was just me and my husband so we thought it would be better to let people with kids ask to go up front. I was lucky enough to get to do it when I was very little, but I don't really remember it.

Re: Monorail Crash Report

It appears that Austin tried to put his monorail in reverse to avoid the collision but he ran out of time. A valiant effort nonetheless. If any good can come out of this, obviously safety procedures will be tightened up and extra precautions will be taken in order to improve the system. May he rest in peace.
