Re: WDW Bus Accident

Just saw that. In the wake of the monrail mishap I would imagine that safety will be conducting a full risk management study on all transportation.

It's a complex the size of San Francisco. Every once in a while you're going to have problems. Could you imagine if San Francisco had one bus accident with injuries over the course of several years? They'd get a medal for safety! Disney is just so effecient that whenever something happens we are surprised. They're too good for their own good!

True. But you can bet your bottom dollar that WDW is about to crack down on safety in ways they never have or never had to before. They have an incredible safety record and they are nmot gonna let it slip away.

Re: WDW Bus Accident

I was in a bus accident on Disney property last March. Our bus was struck by another Disney vehicle that was running a red light. Everyone on the bus was okay physically. We never heard about the other driver. It took us over 3 hours of sitting on the bus for all the paperwork to be filled out. Unfortunately it was my mom's first time using the bus system and she wasn't impressed to say the least. I don’t think Disney even said a sorry for the time which I felt was very un-Disney. I am glad no one on the bus was hurt but the time spent doing paper work was kind of excessive. We had to fill out paperwork for both the state and Disney and it was all the same info. Have they not heard of a photocopier? Anyway, enough ranting for the morning.
