I don't know if this was posted yet or not but,

I was talking to my mom about out upcoming Disney World vacation in August. I asked if they will have a new Walt Disney World tour on TV, sense it is a new year and celebration. Then, she told me about "Must Do's". Apparently its still Stacy, but its not her. Well its still her but she isnt as fun or as crazy, she's boring!! They filmed a whole new show including sniplets or "Top 7 Must Sees". It bothers me becuase I was able to watch the video on youtube, and frankly, I hated it. It's not even a tour, they show like three attractions per park and move on to something else. Ughh, it makes me so mad that they turned something loveable and fun to something boring and well, not as fun. What do you think about it??

I watched it on Youtube also. They took all her excitement out of it. I hope they scrap this before I get there in October. I know they thought they needed to update it and maybe rightly so. BUT this is severely lacking excitement. I guess she did so well the first time anything else would be subpar.

I used to love this - I would turn on the TV when we first got to our room on every trip and then I would really feel like I was in Disney. I would subsequently have it on whenever we were getting ready in the morning, etc. When I turned it on when we went in May, I saw this new version and I hate it too. I know that the old loop was a few years old, but it was a classic! It's also weird watching young, fun Stacy swich to older, more serious Stacy and back again throughout the show.

The first thing I did upon entering the room on our June trip was to turn on the new show. I couldn't wait to see Stacey bouncing around the parks showing me all the exciting things to do...I almost openly wept . Gone is the bubbly girl that we know and love and they replaced her with Stacey on valium. It was very depressing. Here we are ready to get amped up and roaring to go to the parks, and instead we get a monologue. Hopefully next year bubbly Stacey will return and we can once again party 'til the cows come home.

i know what you guys mean. Disney world is my favorite place in the world, and all of the little details of it make up one large lump sum of fun. With the good "Top 7 must sees" gone, my vacation will be alittle sadder this time, (well not really that much sadder lol, but i'll be a little disapointed upon entering the room and not having it playing)

Yea I'm with you guys. I always turned that on and just the music and everything made it Disney. I haven't had a chance to watch the new one in full yet do to lack of time / day trips. But I can tell it's not the same.

The splices between old and new really do not work well. I guess it saved money to use old footage.

I saw what i think is the new version.....I guess i dont see a big deal.
I can think of about 10 million other things to be upset about...
Stacy and the top seven things aint one of them.
I dont doubt the new version is less "bubbly" but im sure some folks like the new version better. I am impartial.
We we goto Disney...this has to be the last thing that could disappoint me.
I understand some of you like the video and all, but jeez...kinda not worth gettin all blue over.

I still like the versions previous to the Top 7. They had a nice catchy tune (Including the Zip A Dee Do Dah Tip for Today). They gave an overview of each park, not just the biggest and most popular attractions. If anyone has one of those I tape I would love to see it again!

I wish they would put wonkey-eyed stacey out to pasture. How many years in a row must I see this woman? I want them to replace her with a hot blonde.

They changes have generally been to be more flexible with how they edit it all together. They can replace any attraction with any other attraction, and it all still "flow" (personally, I don't think it "flows" well at all).

Notice that they talk about the three must-dos at MK - Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and ... Dumbo! This is because Space Mountain is closed for extended rehab, and they don't want people to know what they are missing. When it is back I'm betting the Space Mountain segment is all ready...

Now, I'd love to see an updated version of the WDW Vacation Planning video from several years ago - the one with the 4 different hosts, each one representing four different styles of guest - the thrill seeker, the laid back, the family-oriented, and the fun time (I think). I think they did a really good job...

Doconeill- your talking about the happiest celebration on earth vacation planning dvd. That was my favorite one they ever produced and i think they should deffinatley do an updated version with Erin, Stacey, Luke and Dave.

I was very upset to see the new show as most before you even check for the hidden mickeys in the room you turn on the top 7. My DH compains everytime but I know he love's it. even he was sad to see the changes in it. If he is forced to watch it it might as well be fun. ...( woundering if there is a way to get a copy of the old one to play at home...)
