Last year for Tower of Terror Road Race

I was very sad to get an Email from Disney that read that this will be the last year of the Tower of Terror Road race. As well as the Race for the Taste Race. I am hoping that they will do one big race in the Fall next year and hoping more that it will be a night race... My family and I go down in October because of the race as do a lot of other people that I have talked to ....

I'm thinking Disney is retiring the races because they have another race in mind. Last year was the last year for Minnie marathon weekend (5k and 15k races) and it was replaced by the Princess 1/2 marathon this year.
So I have a feeling there will be another fall race next year. Have you thought about trying the Everest challenge in September. It's a lot of fun.

I really liked the theme and everything for the Tower race so I'm a little frustrated with it but all in all I know that they will come out with something great to replace it. I'm running this year for sure now!

We like the longer races that is why we loved the tower of terror race. I am hoping that your right and that they will have a race in the fall . I am hoping it is at night.....

I was sad when they did away with the Inline marathon several years ago. I always loved that race.

I am sure that they will have another race to replace these. The Disney races are VERY popular. I am glad that I have signed up for Race for the Taste and Tower of Terror this year! And I am really excited to see what they have in store for us the following year

Now, I must start training.......

I agree - it's too bad this race is going away. I am sure they will replace it with something since it does bring in so many folks. Will be interesting to see what the new race is all about!

Never did the Tower of Terror race but was a big fan of the Race For The Taste - a great course, my favorite distance at 10K and always took place around my birthday
