Thanks for the tip, I enjoyed his Mountains book.
In the new backflap from the New, 40th Anniversary Edition of "The Haunted Mansion: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies" teases that he is currently working on "From Star Tours to the Indiana Jones Adventure: The Creative Force of Disney & George Lucas." Can't wait to see that when it gets published.
BTW- The Newest edition of the Haunted Mansion book covers the 2007 updates to Orlando. Excellent book. Must have for your Disney Book Collection.

Just re-read the back flap, and it says one of Surrells most recent Imagineering projects is "The Re-imagining of Star Tours." Ohhhh Star Tours 2.0 keeps getting closer and closer.![]()
I'll wager lots of pixie dust that Star Tours 2.0 will be officially announced at D23.

I was lucky enough to attend Jason's presentation on the Haunted Mansion at D23. Had never met him before and was just blown away with his personality and passion.
Not much new info on the mansion but lots of great history of changes done in the last 20 years.
He did say he expected the giant spider from the Haunted Mansion to make it's way to the Jungle Cruise at some point
