    Mickey's New Voice

Mickey got a new voice recently after Wayne Allwine unfortunately passed away.

Bret Iwan is Mickey's new voice. I saw a commercial for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toys and realized that the voice was not Wayne's and I couldn't tell who it was.

So I checked it out on wikipedia and found out the Bret Iwan is the new voice of the head cheese himself.

I haven't heard it. Is it that obvious that another person is doing the voice?

Yeah it was pretty easy to tell. Bret's Mickey is deeper than Wayne's was. But not as deep as when Walt did it in his later years

    Re: Mickey's New Voice

FYI–There's a bunch of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Fisher Price commercials on TV that Bret is the voice for.

I personally know of no other voice recordings out so far other than the toy commercials

I saw it on Nickelodeon... go figure

    Re: Mickey's New Voice

I just saw the commercial the everyone is saying is the new Mickey voice...and I have to disagree that it is Mr. Iwan. I happen to know that it takes a long time to have the toys produced, and disney usually has them recorded up to 6 months before they are released. From what I've seen on the web, Mr. Iwan didn't assume the role until may or june. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to argue that the toys are the late Wayne Allwine. I've heard from a few people that his later recordings were really low, and not quite as energetic as we've come to love.

I know that you can hear samples of the new voice if you search Disney on Ice Celebrations! on youtube. Best of luck to Mr. Iwan...what an important role
