I managed to get tickets!!! Who else is going? Will the WDW Radio listeners make a good showing at the event?

I was lucky enough to secure tickets as well. We were on the wait list, but we were notified yesterday that tickets were available for us. Thank goodness. We had already booked out plane tickets and DVC room. Also, my sister will be coming. It's her first trip to the World and she's soo excited.

So if these tix sold out in 3 minutes, how did you guys manage to get tix? For future reference... glad someone from this site gets to go!

I kept trying to get in even after it said "Currently Sold Out". Eventuallya link popped up for the wait list. I filled out my information. I was able to get a ticket for myself, but my guests were on the wait list. A few days later I got an e-mial from D23 saying that my guests were cleared for the event and my CC was charged. The best advice I can give is that you just need to get lucky. I know that a lot of people had problems loggin in and it's a shame.

I was also able to get my ticket and will be heading there solo. I am also slated to be in the parks on Friday and plan on making it to the WDW Radio meet.
As for the secret for getting tickets, I followed Lou's advice when he went to the Archives tour. Start refreshing a few minutes early, and you have a chance. The strange part for me though is, I bought my ticket for the DL event before going over and picking up the WDW ticket.

Great for you!! I'm envious.... I do hope they have similar events in the future with many more tix available. Enjoy extra Magic for those of us who missed out!

I will be the for the Meet also. I get in to Orlando just before midnight on Thursday, and will be staying at the Hyatt in the airport, then heading to the parks early in the morning. I can't wait for this to get started!

My fiancee and I will be checking in the Boardwalk Inn on Friday afternoon. I'm sure I will be the only guy there where maroon baseball hat underneath some sort of mouse ears. What Push (the trash can) termed "a hat on a hat". Have yall heard any thing else as to where the meet is going to be? Still the beach at the Poly?

Lou is having a WDW Radio Meet of the Month on Friday the 11th. No details yet. He is also having a Celebration's Magazine Meet on Monday the 14th.
