Re: Mind Blowing Wait times!!!!!

We also have the seasonal pass and live a little over an hour away.
I agree...it sounds like fun being in WDW on Christmas....but why would I want to fight the crowds. Thank goodness we like close enough we can go when we want.

I understand some people brave it when its a special occasion/once in a lifetime deal, but for me, I'll stay home. It's not the wait times, there is plenty to do in the parks that doesn't require waiting, it's the crowds in general.

Re: Mind Blowing Wait times!!!!!

July 4th 2009 at 9:30 am MK reached stage 3, by noon they were in stage 4 and the ONLY!!! way to get down main street was the fact that they opened the trail behind the stores. By time the fireworks that night started we were shoulder to shoulder on main street. Being crammed in with 1,000,000,000,000 people you really love the best way to end the day. GOD BLESS THE USA. lol

Re: Mind Blowing Wait times!!!!!

Im not a huge fan of WDW around any major holidays... but in '06 i went to WDW around the 4th of July... Honestly, the parks were not crazy busy until July 2-3... but between the 3-5... OMG! we went to Epcot on the 4th and we watched illuminations... we were by mexico, and it took us over an hour to walk... WALK to the Land... and then we waited on line at Soarin' for like an hour and twenty... it was absolutely ridiculous... never again... at least not around that, xmas and new years...

Re: Mind Blowing Wait times!!!!!

My son and I got stuck in a 3hr line for soarin after being mislead by the wait time sign. Worst time of my life at Disney. People were trying to leave by the cast members were not allowing them to use the exits.

Re: Mind Blowing Wait times!!!!!

that is awful! I was told the week of Halloween was crazy by an employee. We were there the week before and it was dead! seems like 3rd week in Oct is a good week. Only UK was on holiday and most american schools fall break was over (except ours here in Chattanooga). loved the wait time at RnR of 10 minutes at 12 noon on a tuesday.... so sorry for the horrible lines!
