lost at disney ???? why

I am a big fan of LOST but to change a original attraction to a TV show aimed at a specific audience wouldn't be good. If anything I'd like Discovery Island in bay lake to be something else like LOST. Not even pirates and I also love POTC but pirates have already taken over adventureland lol. But it would be kinda neat in another way, ride a pirate ship out to the discovery island and so forth. But I like the old things in Disney parks and hope they keep some integrity in those original attractions.

I've always thought there were many things they could do to improve Tom Sawyer Island but not that.

Lost the Fatal Attraction It would die a long slow death just like the TV show from convoluted storylines.

why change a classic to a theme that no one will remember in 5 years. it's like the American Idol experience at DHS. Am idol is already on the down swing an attraction based on a cultural blip doesn't make a lot of sense.

This was for Disneyland just so everyone knows not Disney World. But I don't think it's a good idea, I think it would actually be a horrible idea.

I agree, that would be kind of weird. LOST is the kind of thing that if it were to pop up as an attraction, it would most definitely NOT be in Magic Kingdom where TSI is. It'd probably be like a behind the scenes thing at DHS.

And remember... A petition does not an Imagineering decision make.
If they think it's that good an' idea, maybe they could get Disney, et. all, to buy/lease a chunk of Catalina Island off LA to put it on. Start out with a 2-year lease... And that's bein' generous...!
Also, isn't the old Discovery Island on Bay lake at WDW still available for somethin' new that could easily be replaced after it runs its short course?

Lost is so inconsequential the show will be forgotten by most people in 5 years. You can't replace a timeless classic with a passing fad. Oh wait, Disney does that all the time. Darn. Bye bye, Tommy.

BTW, wasn't there a petition to save Toad? Those seem to work really well.

What is Lost. I do not remember losing anything. Discovery Island should either go back to Tresure Island as it was when WDW first opened, or teongrga ( The Pirate island for potc). Something that either shows the great pass of WDW or the a sted fast icon like potc.

I agree that Lost should be nowhere near the Magic Kingdom, but I also agree that Discovery Island would make a great Lost attraction. They could make the beach on the side opposite the Wilderness Lodge, that way there would be bit of mystery, as no one could see most of it from the main land. As for how they would theme a Lost attraction, I think they would have to wait until the series wraps up to create the whole picture, because I'm sure that things will change in the last season.

I used to look forward to watching Lost but it got to the point where they were creating too many twists and not providing enough answers to keep me interested. I felt like there was no rhyme or reason and they were just improvising the storyline as they went along.

I fyou want to play LOST, you can always enlist and sign up for flight training. As part of your training, you get to spend a week in the everglades for survival training. You basically go camping with your friends and forget to bring everything.
