I just bought five 10 day tickets with park hopper and water park options last week since I knew prices were about to increase. I'm sure glad I did, we ended up saving more that I expected!

I'm really wondering if Disney's plan is to keep pushing prices till they hit a magic number where people stop coming. While they will capitalize price per person I think they would do better by keeping it cheaper for more people.
As long as attendance is up, ticket prices will continue to rise.

With lines for rides still topping 2 hours, I don't think they have to worry about more people.
Second any of us on here knew it was coming, for as long as I can remember it has always increased the first week of August. Hey $3 ain't that bad.
they will keep rising them as a cost of living thing every year and then throw specials out there like free dining and 30% off etc etc etc.., what sux is when they throw in blackout dates, now thats a rip off![]()

I don't think attendance will drop anytime soon, so there is no incentive not to raise ticket prices. I believe I did see where merchandise and TS restaurant revenues were down, so I would expect some kind of incentive for the TS restaurants to continue.
Picked up my tickets last night. The woman at the Disney Store asked me, "So I guess you heard, right? Ticket prices go up tomorrow. Guess that's why you're here."![]()
thats exactly why i got mine when i did... because i had heard rumor that ticket prices usually go up n August...

I ordered ours yesterday on the AAA site, a ten day no expiration with the AAA discount was $465.01, the gate price (or ordering through Disney) would have been $481.38, so I saved $16.37 per ticket. Now I just went on the website now and they are showing the same price, so not sure when the new prices will show up. So if you have AAA you may still have time.Just checked the Disney site and they are showing $475.00 for the 10 day but they don't include the tax and shipping so I guess when that's all added it would be the $481.38 so I don't think their site is showing the ticket increase either yet. BTW the AAA price is including the tax and shipping.
