New Tram doors

I've just read that the parking lot trams are being fitted with doors.

A few have already been completed in the transformation, anyone been on one yet? any pictures or thoughts about it?

It's not that it's as much a safety issue now, as over 40 years we have become more:

a) Idiotic
b) Litigious
c) All of the above

Disneyland has had these for a little while already. It really makes finding a seat a pain.

I always thought that with no doors it was easy to run as quickly as **** and get a seat when in a mad rush for whatever reason.

Also do the doors impede on the space of the row? Sometimes its tough enough to fit a load of adults in the same row when there is limited space.

There really is no justification for the people who do not pay attention to the tram when they are on it.
This is coming down to people no longer wanting to be held responsible for their own safety. Now safety is becoming a responsibility for everyone else. I know when i was a child i could cook and play out doors but the over protectiveness is getting the better of all. Simpler times.... how i miss thee

america does have a growing problem... stupidity... nothing personal (nobody take offense to this) but all you have to do is read any newspaper and at least twice a day you will go... "huh... what was he/she thinking...?" that is why WDW had to add these doors...

I was always surprised they did not have doors though. Most things that move do. Safari, Dinosaur, Great Movie Ride. The train always made me nervous when my kids were small.

i am personally surprised it took this long... i figured this was done 10 years ago... (since staying on property since 2001 i havent ridden a tram since... i remember them ive used them but i havent in so long i dont know much about them anymore...

Some moron probably decided it would be cool to do a faceplant off of a tram and sue Disney. Therefore....the doors.
