Walt Disney: One Mans Dream
D23 staff got a sneak peek - that's where the "50% new" came from.
They were also shown a different movie, but apparently that was a one-off thing for them and it will be the same movie shown as before.
Reading on line that the refurbished Walt Disney One Man's Dream at Disney's Hollywood Studios contains close to 50% new stuff.
Has anyone else heard (or actually seen) this?

it was good when it first opened... but once you saw it... you really were hard-pressed to find anything new...

I look forward to seeing the new one and made it a point to visit each year we were there.
We never saw the whole thing until our most recent trip, only because it was one of those "hole in the wall" things. We finally went in a couple trips ago, but couldn't stay for the film, and then finally saw the film last time.
It's museum-ish, but it's neat to see the history. Definitely checking it out when we are there in December.

I think, with regards to the point of "If you've seen it once, that's enough", Disney would do well to consider a continually rotating (every 6 months, for example) display concept for say 25 to 40% of the exhibition, much like many museums do. The resort has more than enough storage space to make it possible.
Good idea 20k!

One Man's Dream is my favorite attraction and I visit. I know that people have said that if you see it once . . . well, I tend to find something new each time I visit. I like finding new things that are either new or maybe something I've never noticed.
There's very few attractions that are specifically of Walt, but this is one of them. Possibly the only one.
Tina Cole
Yeh... But considering the plans to make it a constantly changing look at Walts life (considering Walts affection with change and the ever evolving WDW)... I think Disney disappointed many people... By leaving it identical for how ever many years... Doing exactly what walt worked hard to avoid made people have negative thought of this attraction...

I always enjoy "One Man's Dream", but I agree with the person above who suggested that items on display should be rotated periodically. I've gotta believe that they have enough material to make it possible.
absolutely they do... the Disney Archives could take care of this attraction for like 30 years...
