sound awesome!
I love the Kingdom Keepers books and I would love to see this
Turn into a movie version. I think any "park after hours" story
would be close to the Keepers story anyway.

If you read everyone elses comments about recent and upcoming disney movies (including Tangled). People are starting to believe that Disney will never make another good movie. I don't think that is true, but I think they have still made great movies and can't wait to see each new one. Including one about a mk park movie!! I am an optimist and don't like to say they are bad until I see the movie. Even then if it's Disney, I still find them good.

Exactly. The reason we moan and gripe is not because we are overly negative but because we care for something that had such an impact on our childhoods, and we long for the company to truly and confidently find its feet again. They have made tremendous progress in some respects, I will not take that away from them, but not so much in others.
I will go see anything that has to do with the Disney Parks. I think this movie will be hugely successful among kids and Disney fans-not sure how it will do with the general public.
I would like it to be an "after the park closes" plot but I could do without the outside characters. It would be nice to see just the park interacting with itself. The question then is, "what's the conflict?"
Any ideas?

Of course getting ready for the next day's guests but that's not a conflict. A conflict would be what or whois proventing "them" from getting ready for the next day's guests.
Too bad they this wasn't "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". That would have been a better use of that theme.

It would probably be a villians vs heros conflict, but that would be so predictable. How about a twist where a character that maybe we don't see too often wants his day in the limelight and creates havoc within the park. This could force the villians and heros to work together.
YES! That is excellent. Would also love to see some of the old attractions make a comeback. Mr. Toad, Bonnie Appetite, and Dream Finder versus the World! haha
Maybe a new attraction is ready to be placed in the park and all the attractions think they are being replaced or repurposed.-That is a constant fear for us Disney fans. That is real terror.
I can't help but think this kind of thing has an Epic Mickey feel to it. The game is just on my mind because I see it everywhere but the whole "what if?" scenario is similar.

i think Jon Favreau would only do this type of movie if it had an interesting plot idea... because a movie about a theme park (even a place as popular as WDW) would not entice a well known director with a list of successful movies (Elf, Swingers, Iron Man 1 and 2) would take this on without either a good plot and script or the freedom to do his own thing...

I hope if they are doing a movie about the Magic Kingdom after it closes that it is based on the Kingdom Keeper book. I've been hoping they would make a movie out of the Kingdom Keeper series. If they did a movie about MK after dark and it wasn't Kingdom Keepers, I don't think there would ever be room for a Kingdom Keepers movie. The plots would be to simular.
'
i have heard that it will not be based on kingdom keepers... and as someone that has never even attempted to read them... i am not necessarily upset about this...
