me either... originally it was to be themed with clowns... bouncing off the Dumbo's movement near there...

Me either.
I haven't been in that section in years. I, too, have seen it go through all it's phases, growing up and watching that section grow and change -- and never becoming anything that kept me interested. I am so excited about the FL expansion, however it manifests -- so I am glad to see this go.
i wouldnt say im thrilled about it... but that being said... it was time for SOMETHING to happen over there... whether it be a refurb or a changing of theme or what we have coming now (which is still real hazy right now...)

There has been more rumblings of some sort of steel coaster, rumored to be a Snow White Mine themed coaster...of course not confirmed.

Yes, today it's popular. Just like it was back in 1980-whatever. Try listening to any of the old recordings of the Disneyland monorail. "Warning... you have entered the game grid of Tron..." It sounds ridiculous, even today with the movie newly-released. Which is why I said in a year and a half. Movies like that have shelf lives.
here i agree... the only way a Tron themed attraction has any staying power is if it is a indoor roller coaster a' 'la Rockin' Roller... if they use the lightbike scene as a theme for a roller coaster it will be extremely popular... except that it wont be because of Tron in 2013... it would be because it is an awesome ride... anyone here think people ride the ToT because they love Rod Serling and the Twilight Zone...? they ride it because they love the attraction simple as that...
my issue is a small kiddy Tron coaster would be re-themed by 2013... it doesnt fit in with the whole "Fantasyland Forest"... unless we consider the lightbike crashing into the sea and Ariel saving him...

I was only joking about the Tron coaster rumour...
And for the record, I think the Little Mermaid ride is a step backwards.
