isnt that just unfortunate that EE ended any chance of the Matterhorn... or more so that they put it in AK...?...

Meh, I dunno. Animal Kingdom needed something like Everest badly, and I don't fall into the camp who wished to see the Matterhorn at MK. Project Florida was all about doing things bigger and better... is that not what EE is to the Matterhorn?

I wish I had the chance to get some last "good-bye" shots and footage. If I had known that Toontown was going to close before my next visit I would have.(was there in March 2010;going back March 14-18, 2011). At least we've got some older pics and Lou's stuff.

I visited "for real" this past trip. Every time I went before, I'd just blow through the houses and come out the other side. This time, for the first time, I played with everything in Minnie's house, including all of the kitchen props. I didn't take many pictures, though I was never really a fan of the area, much less the current dumbed-down version that it has become over the years. Minnie and Mickey were together in the Judge's Tent, which was a nice surprise... first time I had experienced that. In the county fair tent, where they once had three seperate lines for different genres of meet-n-greet characters, they had two lines, one for Princesses and one for Fairies. To me, same thing. How about one fairy (does anyone actually know or care about any of the others besides Tinkerbell?) and two princesses in one line, and then have other characters in a different line. Oh well, there goes the 'neighborhood'.
