Mickey's Toontown Fair closing on February 11, 2011

there is one on the rumors... but i will miss it... considering i remember it since it was starland... but i think i might have missed it as birthdayland...

While I may miss it a little, I'm looking forward to the new Fantasyland and am willing to give up Toontown for this.

I will also miss Toontown, but I look forward to the Fantasy Land expansion. Keep moving forward.

Growing up, I managed to visit the area for all three incarnations. I still have photos from the old Mickey's birthday stage show they held there.

It will be missed....my kids loved the playground area but they moved on....so shall Toontown!!!

looking at some pics from both WDW's Toontown and DL's Toontown, WDW's does seem a little weak. It's time for a change, and oh...how convenient! What is that you say? A Fantasyland Expansion?? OH YEAH!!!!

As much as I will miss Toontown Fair...as long as the Fantasyland expansion is a worthy replacement I won't be too distraught over it...I did have some good Toontown memories, though

Is replacing a land worth expanding another? Do we knock out Frontierland to expand Adventureland?

i have mixed feelings over this. i am excited for the new expansion, yet sad to see toontown go. it seems right that mickey's "home" should be a place u can visit in the magic kingdom

Agreed. I read a rumor that Mickey and Minnie's houses may be moved over to Hollywood Studios...that just can't be happen. They need to find another spot, somewhere, in the Magic Kingdom to have Mickey and Minnie meet and greets; hopefully they won't be held up in Exposition Hall too long.

Once the expansion is done, Toontown won't be missed whatsoever! The expansion will be SO worth it.

trust me people will still miss it... think about it... still miss Toad...? not on the same level im sure but as people get older they will find pics of their kids (or themselves) walking through Mickey's house... its inevitable...
