Do you think this may not be the smartest choice for Disney? I like Tarzan and all, but it seems like they'll have to do something really special to pull off the gorillas and Tantor. They could go the Lion King route and have puppets being performed by actors in costume...I don't know. I think Aladdin would have been better...but I'm biased on that one.

What are the odds that they would be willing to cast a 4'11", "mature" Jane? Not that I actually have anybody in mind, just wondering.
    They call me "Nana"

Awesome! I work in NYC, so I'm there every day...it'll be fairly easy for me to get tickets when they go on sale, woohoo!

I would think that they would choose an older, classic movie, like The Little Mermaid or something. Though, I'm sure it will be awesome, all of them are.

Personally, I'm wanting either The Little Mermaid on broadway before Tarzan. I'd LOVE to see what they could do with Ursula. And Kevin, have you see the Aladdin production in DCA? It's very well done. So, they have a great start for Aladdin on the stage.

As far as eye candy in Tarzan, I suggest you check out the second act of The Lion King on stage.
