    Tough to Be a Bug Refurb

    'It's Tough to be a Bug' news - 'It's Tough to be a Bug' closing for refurbishment in August

    I'm sad now... we were so looking forward to finally having enough time to hit this come September's trip!

    Well lets hope Primeval Whirl actually opens on Sept. 1st, its latest "opening" date. AK lacks attractions, two down, not so good.
    Some people are like Slinkies.

    They aren't really good for anything,
    but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

    We're going 9/17-9/23... so we're hit with this too.

    I know they have to refurb these things... but that's just one more thing we'll miss now.

    Maybe we'll be treated to an early / soft opening!

    With Primeval Whirl down, DinoLand is going to take a hit in the amount of people heading in that area...and now with Bug's Life down, well, for the other attractions I say: let the crowds start a-coming, and a a-crowding even more!

    It's been years since I've seen Bug's Life, though...one of these days I'll get there again...but if I do go to WDW this summer, it certainly won't be then

    With how short of a refurb it is I'd bet it's more of a "clean up" than anything.

    I'm not sure how to take this. Psyched that it's going to be up for our trip but any time a refurb gets cancelled... I worry for the future of that attraction.

    It better be just a clean-up of this attraction. I'm tired of Disney always going 'soft', so I hope they don't lessen the scare factor. Your kid can't handle it? Go take him to watch the monkeys instead. Tired of little brats screaming and crying in the middle of this show.
    Really, Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

    Wow, bit harsh there.

    I took my DD to that show when she was 5 and she cried and I took her out immediately, so as not to be disruptive to others. You just never know what is going to make a little one cry or scream, so, all we can do is remove them if they do.
    P.U.S.H.-A mantra MOST will not understand.
