I suppose it's good to see that it's not just Mission Space anymore... but I always read these and think... "history of asthma... history of vertigo... etc. yet you still went on the ride, despite all the signs warning you...".

I was thinking the exact same thing. The most ridiculous thing is people reporting dizziness. Of course you are going to be a little dizzy after riding a roller coaster!
Re: Space Mountain Tops Injuries
I felt worse on the one in Disneyland Paris, cannot believe people are that stupid...actually, yes i can
Re: Space Mountain Tops Injuries
i can understand feeling sick on the one in Disneyland Paris-not a great fan of having my head shaken in between the pull down bars, but the one in Orlando is the best! Why don't people use some common sense?
Re: Space Mountain Tops Injuries
It just gives me a giggle, maybe inappropriately, when I hear about this stuff because the people always admit to having a known history of [insert medical problem here] afterwards yet don't seem to remember seeing the myriad of signs that said if you had said medical condition, you might not want to ride. Ahhh the human race...
Re: Space Mountain Tops Injuries
if you have a problem like those stated above you should not go on and if you do expect consequences, there own fault just saying lol

I'm sure SM in Disneyland Paris gets rougher every year... I actually put my neck out riding it a few years ago. Yeah, it's a great ride, but they're only one step away from having to give out free neck-braces to those unloading at the end! :wow:

as soon as i read the article this is what i thought as well... why would people with problems like vertigo and such go on a ride that messes with your equilibrium in the first place... it just makes very little sense...

The launch in DLP alone makes the ride worthwhile.

mike, that what i hear... i think a trip to Paris must include a day at Disneyland Paris just for that attraction...
Re: Space Mountain Tops Injuries
i sooo want to go to DLP!!
and people dont pay attention to signs.
i always said when i worked in the museum biz...we could have signs telling people not to walk down this hallway cause you will fall into a bottomless hole...and they still walked down the hall!! :/
Re: Space Mountain Tops Injuries
This is definitely true... It really doesn't matter... People need to make the mistake on their own... Sadly it may lead to injuries...'but I would bet thY they will learn...
Re: Space Mountain Tops Injuries
i never get sick from rides, very sturdy stomach, but i do object to having my head thrown about between those stupid head bars. Once at DLP was quite enough for me!
Re: Space Mountain Tops Injuries
Stupid guest: I have a history of motion sickness so I'm gonna get on this roller coaster so I can violently vomit and get dizzy and blame it on WDW!
Some people shouldn't be allowed to breed.
