I haven't seen it either. The words that literally came out of my mouth when I read it was "******, now I have to watch it."

Thank you kindly. It's difficult sometimes feeling that I'm the lone voice of reason around here. Nice to know there are supporters.
Re: Avatar Attraction in AK
seen the movie- didn't care for it.
Avatar in AK- when it's done I bet it will be really cool, especially with new technology we can't even imagine right now.

That's where most of the voices are, yes.
Re: Avatar Attraction in AK
At first I was dead set against this. After some thinking, I've decided not to make a decision on it, until I've seen it. Either the concept art, or when it is has been built.
Re: Avatar Attraction in AK
True, very little info has been released yet on this project. I am interested in hearing more about the design of this "land" and the attractions, shows, etc. within it, too.
I wonder what Disney will do if the next movie is a failure, because construction should be well underway when it gets released.
Re: Avatar Attraction in AK
Even if the next Avatar movie or two are less than stellar, I have faith in Imagineering to make something I'd enjoy. It's not like they're tearing down any long time favourite attractions to make this.
It's going to be something new in the parks. If it's a fantastic addition, great. If it's not so great, there's no real harm done.

If what I heard on another podcast is true, then Imagineering is at a loss with what to do. Word was they weren't even involved in this decision. So they may well be starting at an extreme disadvantage.

Blame this one solely on Iger. And as it turns out, he won't be around as CEO by the time it opens.
Re: Avatar Attraction in AK
It sure wouold be nice to get a memeber of the Disney family back in charge.
Re: Avatar Attraction in AK
Not even sure who's left. Diane and Ron are both way up there in age. And as far as I can tell, the grandchildren are sort of out of the spotlight?

Sigh, another person being logical.
