I'd say DAR's wait and see approach is the only logical one.

Having feelings about something that we know absolutely nothing about is reactionary.

But we know what Avatar is!!!!! If Disney announced a Handy Mannyland would you still advocate a wait and see approach?

There's something to be said for keeping an open mind; but a crapsandwich is still a crapsandwich (no matter how it's cooked or seasoned).

Now now... you don't know that for sure. Let's wait and see.

Let me give an example. I loved the movie Lilo and Stich and I also enjoyed the tv show it was based on. Then I heard that Alien Encounter was going to be replaced by Stich's Great Escape. OH YEAH now I'm really pumped. I'm in Tomorrowland, and I'm heading to Stich's Great Escape and this is going to be so awes..... What the heck was that?

No what just happened here, OH YEAH I WENT ON THE RIDE AND MADE A DECISION AFTER I EXPERIENCED IT.

OK. I get it now. We're on two COMPLETELY different wavelengths. I don't mean that in a snobby or superior way...we're just different people. Good day.

Lilo and Stitch should never ever be brought into an argument. Movie, attraction, or otherwise. Somehow I'm suddenly glad I'm not part of that wavelength, either. And I, too, do not mean that in a snobby or superior way.

I'm just going to agree with everything you two say. Because I didn't realize I was talking to the two people who know how exactly a multibillion corporation should be run.

Yep, thats my point entirely. Even if they do an amazing job on this area (which, I am going to wait and see before I make comments on), it doesn't mean its going to draw a ton of people in. Why create something when there's pretty much no excitement at the idea? If they're going to do something amazing, why not change it to something that will draw in non-Disney fans (as well as Disney fans?)? Maybe they could also create a really well-themed, awesome area of the park based on JUST STITCH, but would that make people all around the world go "oh boy, I'm for SURE going to Disney World now!" Probably not...
