Soft Opening for guests when Epcot opened this morning.

If they have finally caught up with the technology, and can keep this thing functional, it looks like it will be a slight improvement, IMO. Like something out of 80's EPCOT.

I just got done riding Test Track and I was very impressed with the updates and glad to see they kept the Big rig.

This video shows the full queue, pre-show vehicle creation, complete ride through, and the post-show area. It looks very impressive. The queue especially looks impressive. I can't wait to see it all in person in January. I would post the direct link, but you can't post links as a brand new member.

While visually impressive, it feels like the unwanted lovechild of Space Mountain and Spaceship Earth. I know we're all complaining that the "future" is missing from Future World, but is this really where it belongs? Not sure what GM's message is here. Is the future of civilization all about testing out cars on the moon?

I got on it three times yesterday, and it seems like this time it's more about the looks then last time it was about the ride more. On the last one they tell you everything your going to do right when you get in, here it's like oh now were going to test your stoping in the snow now. In the end it's ten times cooler then the old Test Track.

And yes, I certainly believe the future "belongs" there. It's nice to see it making a return.

True, but did it ever really have that cohesiveness? There were a lot of things right about '86 Future World, but a lot of things wrong as well.
Guess you can say that at least back then the only thing truly off the grid was Imagination.
