Davy Jones, the lead singer of the Beatles-inspired made-for-TV pop group the Monkees, died Wednesday. He was 66.
That's sad. =( I enjoyed the monkees...

Remember his cameo on The Brady Bunch, too.

Don't be so sure. :wink: There are a surprising number of women in their mid 20's - early 30's that remember Davy as their first crush because they were watching The Monkees when it was running in syndication. A lot of us were watching Nickelodeon, including the Nick at Nite block (if our parents let us stay up that late). My sister is only 25 and was just over the moon for him as a kid. My husband and I watched The Monkees documentary a few weeks ago. (This was before his death. Really weird with the timing.) It got me to thinking of the Flower Power series they have during Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival. Davy Jones was a staple at that. I wanted to catch Davy Jones there one year. Missed my chance.
Remind me to NOT go to his doctor that recently gave him a clean bill of health. Such a shame.
